Something I Learned in Class Today:
Today we learned all about how GPS works, and how sometimes it doesn't. I thought it was interesting having never really learned about GPS before.

What is the toughest thing I need to do in the next two weeks:
Just getting out of bed in the morning is becoming increasingly difficult... But really the toughest thing I'm going to have to do is probably my Petroleum Systems Analysis final. I'm a little scared...

Today we went over some things regarding TEST REVIEW! Scary stuff, this test shouldn't be too bad though. Wish me luck!

Something I Learned in Class Today:
Today we learned about Power Point, and there were some things that I didn't know yet. Like the ability to use the search and find edit tools, which is cool.

Something I am Still Unsure About:
Nothing

Adam's Cretique:
Too Many Sounds! Poorly designed slides... Misspelled words, backgrounds to noisy and distracting. Irrelevant information. Images that didn't work, shows he didn't practice at all. Text is hard to read on some of the slides. All in all a pretty gross presentation. At least there was a dinosaur in at the end!

Something I Learned in Class Today:
Today we learned more about academic poster making. I thought it was a good idea to divide things into layers to make the poster easier to work with.

What has been my favorite class so far?
I really enjoyed Geology 112 with Dr. Ritter. I thought it was really interesting to learn about the history of the earth and to discuss evolution and how it relates to the church. Also, we got to learn about dinosaurs and I gave a presentation on T-Rex. Awesome.

Photoshop Task 2

Sorry it's late! This picture was taken on the timer because I was hiking by myself, and the surface the camera was sitting on was crooked, so the horizon line had to be straightened. Also, because the sun was at my back, my face was really dark so the levels had to be changed so that you could actually see my wonderful smile. Then I just messed around with changing the colors and making it black and white. I think it turned out alright.

Something I Learned in Class Today:
Hooray for starting Illustrator! Illustrator is another one of the programs that I have used, but never really understood. Today we went over a lot of basic things, which was good. We learned about the pen tool and the paint brush and how they work.

What would you like to know about the future?
Interesting question. I'm not sure I want to know too much about the future. I enjoy the surprises of life, even when they aren't so happy. For now I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride.
